Sarojni Devi Michael

Sarojni Devi was born on 10th October 1960.

After attending primary school at Nadroga Sangam and Secondary at Cuvu College, she married Mr Philip Michael and moved to Lautoka where she reared her three children.

St. Anthony’s Kindergarten was her first place of employment and after three years serving as teacher’s helper she decided to complete an extension course at the University of the South Pacific. She attempted Pacific Pre-school Teachers Course and attained a Certificate.

Her 24 years of teaching came to an end when she filled the position of almoner at the Bayly Welfare Lautoka in 2002.
